Started in 1976 on a fateful day in October. It was a task taken up by our Grand father, Late. Srinivas Venkatraman Nilavar, who is the founding father of Amrut. He started this place to earning a daily buck for his Nine children & to meet their needs.
A direct result of the Gold Control Act brought in by the Govt. at the time which terrified and forced families like ours to seek other means of livelihood. All the years of hard work and positive energy is what you see before you now as, Hotel Amrut.

We visit this hotel specially for fresh Sea food preparation. The ambience is wonderful, sitting on the first floor in Air conditioned comfort and watching the traffic move on the road while having a lavish Seafood platter.
